Bicyclist Killed in San Francisco By Recology Truck

A bicyclist was killed in San Francisco early this morning after being struck by a garbage truck (Recology) and dragged apprpoximately 30 feet. The incident occurred at the
intersection of 16th and South Van Ness. The cause of the incident is under investigation. A quick view of the intersection reveals that the crosswalks are very well marked and that the intersection is controlled on all sides by lights.
