Pedestrian Accidents in Alameda

According to a recent report, 23% of the car accident fatalities in Alameda County involved pedestrians. It is not all that surprising given that a pedestrian has far less protection than a passenger in a car - and the number of places where pedestrians and cars come together. There are a number of dangerous intersections in Oakland, the flow of traffic around Lake Merritt, etc. We recenlty wrote about a series of pedestrian accidents in Oakland - involving serious injuries.
