Pedestrian Killed in San Francisco

A pedestrian in her 50's was struck and killed by a truck in San Francisco late on April 10. According to reports, the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the incident and the intersection of Judson Avenue and Edna Street. That intersection is controlled by stop signs.

Since the pedestrian was in the crosswalk, and the intersection is controlled on all sides by stop signs, the driver was negligent and is legally responsible for the wrongful death of the pedestrian.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the decedent and her family.
