Oakland Bicyclist Killed in Accident

A 51 year-old man was struck and killed by an SUV in Oakland on Monday at the intersection of
Bancroft and 78th in
Oakland. The driver of the SUV that struck the man stopped and cooperated with investigating officers. No determination of fault has yet been made public, and the man has not been identified. Interestingly, there is a
pedestrian
crosswalk at that
intersection.
