Drunk Driver Kills Motorist in Fremont

An 83 year old Fremont resident was killed when an apparenlty drunk driver crashed into his car on Sunday. The deceased party has been identified as Irving Williams. The alleged drunk driver has been identified as 53 year old Todd Lovejoy, also of Fremont.

Before the car accident, a number of people contacted 911 just minutes before the crash, reporting a driver who was stopping at green lights and running through red lights. Lovejoy was reportedly arrested on vehicular manslaughter charges.

The family of Mr. Williams may have a viable wrongful death claim against the driver who killed him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
