Pedestrian Killed on 880 in Oakland

A man driving a Honda in Oakland early Sunday morning first struck the center divide, then ran twice across lanes of traffic before being struck by a car and killed. It is unclear why the man first hit the center divide, or ran across multiple lanes of traffic before he was hit and killed by a car traveling down 880. His is the first reported pedestrian death in Oakland in 2011.
