Major Big Rig Accident on 880 South in San Jose
January 4, 2011 - There was a major big rig accident in San Jose this afternoon,on highway 880 north of the 880/101 interchange. It appeared that there were at least two trucks involved, perhaps more. The photo above was taken on my blackberry, and as you can see, the wall blocked me from having a better view.
According to one report, the accident resulted in an oil spill and the hazmat unit coming out to clean up. It is reported that one of the drivers suffered minor injuries.
