Drunk Driver Rear-Ends Car, Killing Passenger

A Hayward man who rear-ended the car in front of him, causing it to lose control and strike the center divide and kill the passenger, has been charged with manslaughter.  43 year old Juan Nunez was reportedly driving drunk at the time of the car accident.  According to police, Nunez was involved in two hit-and-run accidents immediately before the fatal accident that took the life of 40 year old Dennis Splan.
