School Bus Overturns, Killing One

October 25, 2010

A multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus in Los Angeles has left one person dead and dozens of others injured after a school bus flipped over.

One person raised the excellent question: Why do school buses not have seatbelts. That is an excellent question and I'll bet it has something to do with the cost of retro-fitting thousands and thousands of school buses, as well as the labor involved with making sure the kids are wearing them.
